I always find using yogurt makes muffins more moist and fluffy. This recipe turned out great. I hope you like it just as much as we did.


1 1/2 Whole wheat flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 cup oil

3/4 cup cane sugar

2 large organic eggs 

1 tsp pure vanilla 

1 cup bananas mashed

1/4 cup Greek yogurt nonfat

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl mix whole wheat flour, baking soda and sea salt. In a separate bowl mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add mashed bananas and mix until blended. Finally add Greek yogurt and mix once again. Mix dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop batter into muffin cups. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and then place on cooling rack. Enjoy!
